Viggbyholms IK's Fredrik Säv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Martinsson in the 3rd minute of play. Michel Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Gunnarsson in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Torbjörn Bammerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Viggbyholms IK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Joseph Hamnberg hit a great ball. Konrad Alebeck took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Säv. Fredrik Säv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Fredrik Säv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Fredrik Säv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Engström was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Karl-Åke Gunnarsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Michel Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Viggbyholms IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Viggbyholms IK:s Fredrik Säv showed great skill when he stopped Leonardo Lindman:s penalty. Michel Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Gunnarsson in the 34th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Konrad Alebeck stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Älvkarleby IK defense, Rasmus Bollström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Engström. The Älvkarleby IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Engström should have stopped the shot. Konrad Alebeck hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With 70 minutes on the clock, Patrik Vestlund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Älvkarleby IK. Leonardo Lindman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fredrik Säv. 3-2. The supporters of Älvkarleby IK booed when Viggbyholms IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Åberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rasmus Bollström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Valentin Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viggbyholms IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
