Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vilgot Lundqvist got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Runhällen IF getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Hans Boklund hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Norrköping FF's zone, Hans Boklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Sandström came out of the goal and Hans Boklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes, Runhällen IF's Vilgot Rudkvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthias Sandström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Runhällen IF reached it. After 17 played minutes, Runhällen IF's Ulf Bäckman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matthias Sandström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Runhällen IF reached it. With a little luck, Runhällen IF's Edvin Kollberg got control of the ball when Hubert Enegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Norrköping FF's Matthias Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Fernkvist in the 23rd minute of play. Hubert Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Kollberg having to interfere. Edvin Kollberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Lundqvist in the 32nd minute of play. Östen Fernkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edvin Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Fernkvist to make the kick off. Hans Termander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hans Boklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Sandström having to interfere. Norrköping FF's Matthias Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Fernkvist in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Runhällen IF were awarded a corner. Ulf Bäckman went to the cornerflag to take it. Vilgot Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin Kollberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Vilgot Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Kollberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Norrköping FF's zone, Östen Fernkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthias Sandström came out of the goal and Östen Fernkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Norrköping FF's Vilgot Lundqvist got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Hans Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Fernkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th of the match, Östen Fernkvist tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Matthias Sandström got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, Norrköping FF's Karl-Ove Paulin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Runhällen IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
