In the 3rd minute, Jonathan Ugla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Östansjö's Eskil Uter made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Arne Pålsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 minutes, Göran Rydelius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Östansjö and the Rödeby players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Östansjö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Rydelius to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Edvin Eriksson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Magnus Ryberg skillfully saved the ball. Sven-Arne Pålsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Hjälm's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Magnus Ryberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Ugla, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. When Jonathan Ugla came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rödeby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Ugla couldn't finish the play. Magnus Ryberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rödeby's Anders Deckbergh got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Edwin Elg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Östansjö's Magnus Ryberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Edwin Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Östansjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Hjälm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 65th match minute, Rödeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Månsson to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Östansjö's Erik Hjälm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Arne Pålsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Charlie Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Eskil Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Östansjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Eskil Uter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 74th minute, Charlie Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes in the game, Edwin Elg dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 81st minute, Edwin Elg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Jonathan Ugla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Ryberg having to interfere. Eskil Uter struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sven-Arne Pålsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östansjö. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Östansjö's goalkeeper Magnus Ryberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Edwin Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rödeby's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Elg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magnus Ryberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rödeby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Östansjö.
