Wilhelm Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Gösta Eklund made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Andreas Högström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sörberge's Tomas Kielberg. After 55 played minutes Sörberge got a freekick which was hit by Elof Björkdal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Lundqvist in the 57th minute of play forced Örby's goalkeeper Gösta Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Björkdal in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Eklund saved Örby from getting behind. Oliver Lange took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Kielberg. Sörberge's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sörberge players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
