Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pål Nilsson started the match with the kick off. Adrian Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sven-Olof Gustavsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Långås RK's Börge Åhman got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Långås RK got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Thorsberg. After a defensive mix-up in Långås RK's zone, Lennart Deckbergh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Larsfelt came out of the goal and Lennart Deckbergh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, StarFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. If Adrian Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Åhman in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Adrian Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Deckbergh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Larsfelt having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Pål Nilsson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Långås RK's Gösta Larsfelt. Gösta Larsfelt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Nilsson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Larsfelt saved Långås RK from getting behind. After the first half StarFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

52 minutes into the match, Långås RK's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Nilsson came free, but Gösta Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gustavsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Martinsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lennart Deckbergh struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gösta Larsfelt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StarFC. Lennart Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Kurt Pilblad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Långås RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Vikström to maneuver through the defense. Gösta Larsfelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Mattsson in the 73rd minute of play. Gösta Larsfelt came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by StarFC's Pål Nilsson. But to his dismay, Pål Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 79 minutes, Pål Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StarFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lennart Deckbergh came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the StarFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lennart Deckbergh couldn't finish the play. Gösta Larsfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Kurt Pilblad's late challenge caught a Långås RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Pilblad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, StarFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Pilblad to maneuver through the defense. Långås RK's Sten Albohm couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for StarFC. In the 95th minute, Vilhelm Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, StarFC's Gösta Larsfelt threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pål Nilsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
