In the 9th minute Henric Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carl Böcklund made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sven-Ove Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. Carl Böcklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Gummeson in the 12th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Berglund charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt-Arne Berglund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Bengt-Arne Berglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gäddede RK's Sverker Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Lindström in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Joakim Lindström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sverker Åkesson was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Henric Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Böcklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sverker Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pål Björnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joakim Lindström struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sverker Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niskanpää FF. Niskanpää FF's Carl Böcklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Niskanpää FF from getting a goal against them. When Joakim Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Niskanpää FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Lindström couldn't finish the play. In the 38thth minute of the game Pål Björnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gäddede RK's Sverker Åkesson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carl Böcklund was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Filip Gummeson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filip Gummeson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Björnsson in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sverker Åkesson saved Gäddede RK from getting behind. Gäddede RK's Sverker Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Lindström in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pål Björnsson to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Lindström got free with Sverker Åkesson in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arvin Bergström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Åkesson having to interfere. Joakim Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Lindgren in the 69th minute of play forced Niskanpää FF's goalkeeper Carl Böcklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Sven-Ove Lindgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl Böcklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Carl Böcklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Gäddede RK's goalkeeper Sverker Åkesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Lindström. Niskanpää FF's Carl Böcklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Arne Berglund in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joakim Lindström got free with Sverker Åkesson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gäddede RK getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anders Kaxe hit a great ball. Joakim Lindström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Niskanpää FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sverker Åkesson had great luck who in the 96thth minute grab hold of the ball when Pål Björnsson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gäddede RK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Niskanpää FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
