Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Leeds AFC's Karl-Johan Bergsten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Svärdsjö's Carl Qvarnström got a free kick in the 12th minute. Svärdsjö's Sivert Galle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Bergsten in the 13th minute of play. Karl-Johan Bergsten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Galle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Karl-Johan Bergsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Galle having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Karl-Johan Bergsten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sivert Galle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Karl-Erik Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Leeds AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Erik Svensson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Leeds AFC's Carlos Alberto Ortega got control of the ball when Magnus Aronsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Svärdsjö players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Leeds AFC were winning 0-1.

The supporters of Svärdsjö booed when Leeds AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Svärdsjö's Patric Lång broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 62 minutes into the game, Svärdsjö's Lars Henriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Alberto Ortega made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars Henriksson in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Alberto Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Carl Qvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes Leeds AFC got a freekick which was hit by Björn Söderberg. After 93 played minutes Leeds AFC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Bergsten. Leeds AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Svärdsjö had controlled the match.
