Sven-Erik Vallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Skräddare having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Vallmark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Skräddare was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Vallmark had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Skräddare. Holmsund RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Vallmark was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Sven-Erik Vallmark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Skräddare was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Holmsund RK's Martin Frisck got a free kick in the 20th minute. Sven-Erik Vallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Erik Vallmark struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Ingvar Skräddare didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brantevik FF. If Kevin Vallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Vallander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Skräddare having to interfere. Martin Frisck kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Brantevik FF's Magnus Stephansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Holmsund RK. Sven-Erik Vallmark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ingvar Skräddare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Erik Vallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holmsund RK's Ingvar Skräddare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Fredriksson in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Kevin Vallander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Skytt in the 43rd minute of play forced Brantevik FF's goalkeeper Edvard Björling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Fredriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Fredriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Holmsund RK booed when Brantevik FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Fredriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sivert Rudkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egil Skytt to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Kevin Vallander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ingvar Skräddare. The goal made the score 0-3. Brantevik FF's Lars Fredriksson got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Lars Fredriksson off the ground. After a rather tough play, Brantevik FF's Lars Fredriksson got a free kick in the 58th minute. Egil Skytt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sven-Erik Vallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrian Sjögren hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Ingvar Skräddare made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Magnus Stephansson sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the game, one of Holmsund RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingvar Skräddare went to the wrong direction when Magnus Stephansson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Holmsund RK's Ingvar Skräddare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Holmsund RK from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute Bo Beckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Skräddare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Sven-Erik Vallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brantevik FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Erik Vallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Holmsund RK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alfons Lundgren hit a great ball. Bo Beckman's late challenge caught a Holmsund RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Beckman helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Brantevik FF got a freekick which was hit by Bo Beckman. Sven-Erik Vallmark in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ingvar Skräddare, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sven-Erik Vallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Skräddare having to interfere.
