The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 29 minutes into the game, one of Norrfjärden IFK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Sorsele supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sorsele would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
