After 3 minutes, Tommy Alströmmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kyrkhult BF and the Olsfors IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tommy Alströmmer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 4 minutes into the match, Kyrkhult BF's goalkeeper Valter Hultstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Åberg. Olle Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Hultstrand having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Joachim Åberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Olsfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Runeberg came free, but Bengt-Rune Täman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt-Rune Täman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joachim Åberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valter Hultstrand could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joachim Åberg got free with Valter Hultstrand in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valter Hultstrand came out of the goal and Joachim Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urban Runeberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urban Runeberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kyrkhult BF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Olle Tolsson scored to the left of an out of position Valter Hultstrand, making the score, 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Kyrkhult BF's goalkeeper Valter Hultstrand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joachim Åberg. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Olsfors IK's goalkeeper Bengt-Rune Täman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lennart Gunnarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Urban Runeberg came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kyrkhult BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urban Runeberg couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Olle Tolsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kyrkhult BF's Valter Hultstrand. Valter Hultstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Lennart Gunnarsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Kyrkhult BF booed when Olsfors IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Svensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Per-Åke Brolin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Olsfors IK's Bengt-Rune Täman didn't even have to move. A collision led to Kyrkhult BF getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Helge Siggesson hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Per Fredriksson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kyrkhult BF's Valter Hultstrand didn't even have to move. In the 83rdth minute of the game Olle Tolsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyrkhult BF's Valter Hultstrand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute Olle Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Hultstrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes, Olsfors IK's Morgan Snäll shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valter Hultstrand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olsfors IK reached it. Valter Hultstrand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olle Tolsson in the 95th minute of the match.
