Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jon Anselius kicked off to start the match. Ludwig Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Ulf Gunnarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4thth minute of the game Ludwig Åkesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glimåkra FK's Ulf Gunnarsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 minutes, Gösta Bjursell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glimåkra FK and the Katrineholm IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Katrineholm IK booed when Glimåkra FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Bjursell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth Pihl was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Boris Kinnman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katrineholm IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Boris Kinnman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katrineholm IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Kinnman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulf Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, Boris Kinnman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Glimåkra FK's Ulf Gunnarsson. Ulf Gunnarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Skräddare during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magne Skräddare kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Katrineholm IK got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Samuelsson. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jon Anselius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glimåkra FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Anselius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Bengtsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Boris Kinnman struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ulf Gunnarsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Katrineholm IK. In the 45th match minute, Glimåkra FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. Katrineholm IK were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Glimåkra FK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kenneth Pihl took the corner.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ludwig Åkesson to make the kick off. With a little luck, Glimåkra FK's Ulf Gunnarsson got control of the ball when Boris Kinnman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jon Anselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludwig Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulf Gunnarsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Boris Kinnman in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulf Gunnarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Leif Lidman charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leif Lidman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leo Blom shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 66 minutes, Bertil Samuelsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Katrineholm IK and the Glimåkra FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Bertil Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bertil Samuelsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 72 minutes had been played. After a defensive mix-up in Katrineholm IK's zone, Jon Anselius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Bengtsson came out of the goal and Jon Anselius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Böcklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Bengtsson having to interfere. When Glimåkra FK's Sten Böcklund in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katrineholm IK's goalie prevented a goal. Ludwig Åkesson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Sten Böcklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Sten Böcklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Bengtsson was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The Glimåkra FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Katrineholm IK's performance. The match ended with a win for Katrineholm IK.
