With a little luck, Tommarp IF's Jonny Stenman got control of the ball when Kåre Björk tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute Sven-Erik Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonny Stenman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Olov Överman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Våmhus IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tommarp IF the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Våmhus IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tommarp IF:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Tommarp IF. Ove Håkansson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gösta Lindgren. 0-1. In the 32nd minute Ingemar Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Sjöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Lindgren was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Tommarp IF's Andréas Svanberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gösta Lindgren. That made the score 0-2 after 62 minutes of play. Jonny Stenman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Erik Holmgren in the 70th minute of the match. Sven-Erik Holmgren took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonny Stenman. Jonny Stenman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Aleksander Gunnarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aleksander Gunnarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Sven-Erik Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Stenman having to interfere. Sven-Erik Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jonny Stenman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Tommarp IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
