Våmhus IF's Gösta Lindgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Våmhus IF from getting a goal against them. Jörgen Deckberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Oskar Fastesson in the 28th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Sven-Åke Vik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guldköping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Åke Vik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Maximilian Lund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörgen Deckberg. Guldköping's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximilian Lund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Erik Holmgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Kristiansson in the 51st minute of play forced Våmhus IF's goalkeeper Gösta Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Deckberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olov Alström. Olov Överman kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Våmhus IF's Gösta Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Håkansson in the 60th minute of play. Gösta Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Vik in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Guldköping getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Stig Malmgren hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Guldköping's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Holmgren came free, but Jörgen Deckberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Våmhus IF's Gösta Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Håkansson in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Guldköping's goalkeeper Jörgen Deckberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kåre Björk. Jörgen Deckberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Våmhus IF's Sven-Erik Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
