Mathias Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Engström in the 5th minute of play. Torgny Bäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Ahlkvist in the 9th minute of the match. Verner Klemensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mathias Vall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Ahlkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Verner Klemensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Vall. Grythyttan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Klemensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Michael Gustafsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sörberge BK's protests and gave Michael Gustafsson a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Gustafsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Richard Ahlkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nils Engström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sörberge BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Engström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Vall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils Engström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Vall having to make a save. After having played for 40 minutes, Richard Ahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grythyttan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Ahlkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Bäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Ahlkvist in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Verner Klemensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Sörberge BK's Torgny Bäck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Ahlkvist in the 53rd minute of play. Michael Gustafsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Mathias Vall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Engström in the 57th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Verner Klemensson took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Mathias Vall to make any attempt to save it. Carl Winström kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Nils Engström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Vall having to make a save. In the 76th minute Richard Ahlkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torgny Bäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verner Klemensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Vall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Jonatan Eriksson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Grythyttan's Richard Ahlkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torgny Bäck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Grythyttan's Viggo Hermansson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Viggo Hermansson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grythyttan protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Viggo Hermansson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Sörberge BK's Martin Sellberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mathias Vall. When the match was over Sörberge BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Grythyttan throughout the match.
