Rune Boklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Vallin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kjell-Arne Stolpe. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 17th minute Rune Boklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manfred Löfgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Forsvik FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ola Tunström hit a great ball. After 21 minutes, Rune Boklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hörnefors IF and the Forsvik FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Hörnefors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Boklund to maneuver through the defense. Ludvig Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kjell-Arne Stolpe made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Boklund in the 24th minute of play forced Forsvik FK's goalkeeper Manfred Löfgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Forsvik FK's Emil Vallin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kjell-Arne Stolpe. Kjell-Arne Stolpe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Vallin in the 29th minute of play forced Hörnefors IF's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Stolpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Billy Wennerqvist made the kick off in the second half. Rune Boklund got his second yellow card in the match during the 50th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rune Boklund hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hörnefors IF's Kjell-Arne Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Wennerqvist in the 56th minute of play. When Eskil Beckström fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hörnefors IF's protests and gave Eskil Beckström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Hörnefors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eskil Beckström to maneuver through the defense. Kjell-Arne Stolpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Billy Wennerqvist went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Hörnefors IF's Bo-Erik Bergström got a free kick in the 71st minute. Kjell-Arne Stolpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvig Mattsson in the 74th minute of play. Birger Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Billy Wennerqvist notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Hörnefors IF's Kjell-Arne Stolpe. Kjell-Arne Stolpe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Forsvik FK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ola Tunström hit a great ball. Hörnefors IF's attentive Evert Lundkvist managed to snatch the ball when Sebastian Bergman made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. The supporters of Hörnefors IF booed when Forsvik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ola Tunström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Bo-Erik Bergström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hörnefors IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Bergström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egil Jakobsson during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egil Jakobsson hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Forsvik FK had played much better football throughout.
