Jonas Vennersten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Oskar Hök might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Vennersten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Oskar Hök ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennart Gråberg scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Vennersten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard, long distance shot from Lennart Forsberg flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Billström during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albin Billström hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fjärdhundra IK's Thomas Lundhberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Jernberg in the 22nd minute of play. During the 23rd minute of the match Albin Billström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albin Billström a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. When Ingvar Broberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laisvall's protests and gave Ingvar Broberg a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Karl-Johan Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Laisvall players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. After 64 minutes of play Laisvall's Lennart Forsberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Laisvall's Lennart Forsberg got a free kick in the 65th minute.
