When Sten Gunnarsson fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rob IN's protests and gave Sten Gunnarsson a yellow card for diving instead. Herbert Ödman made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hugo Österberg sent off a good shot on target. Hjälteby BK's Tony Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Uter in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tony Engström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 90 minutes into the match, Hjälteby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Uter came free, but Tony Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Uter in the 92nd minute of play forced Hjälteby BK's goalkeeper Tony Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
