To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the match, Hjälteby BK's Hugo Österberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Björkdal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lars Björkdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villiam Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Jonas Pilgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lars Björkdal made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Aaron Hägert sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the match, Arkelstorp IK's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Eliasson came free, but Lars Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Villiam Eliasson in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Björkdal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Torstensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Engström having to interfere. With a little luck, Arkelstorp IK's Lars Björkdal got control of the ball when Gustaf Lindström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Villiam Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hjälteby BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
