Skåpafors IF's Jan-Erik Strömqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Rosen in the 5th minute of play. Lennart Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Tinglöv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Håkan Tinglöv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Lennart Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malcolm Dahlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Skåpafors IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filip Ingemarsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Henån's players had a chance to rest. After 28 minutes, Adrian Levander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henån and the Skåpafors IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Adrian Levander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Tinglöv took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lennart Gustafsson. Lennart Gustafsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edward Benet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Malcolm Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henån's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Dahlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Erik Strömqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the match, Henån's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Tinglöv came free, but Lennart Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Håkan Tinglöv was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Edward Benet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Gustafsson. Henån's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Benet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Edward Benet's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Lennart Gustafsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lennart Gustafsson having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Håkan Tinglöv fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Michel Bolin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Henån got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Nordkvist. Lennart Gustafsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Håkan Tinglöv showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 82 minute of play. Edward Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Lennart Gustafsson made a huge save. The supporters of Skåpafors IF booed when Henån was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakarias Bohlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Torbjörn Rosen made a precise shot to the right of Jan-Erik Strömqvist. Skåpafors IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Lennart Gustafsson was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Håkan Tinglöv capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Tinglöv really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skåpafors IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
