Eriksmåla IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marsfjäll BK the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Eriksmåla IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Hagström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Marsfjäll BK booed when Eriksmåla IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lennart Hagström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Marsfjäll BK's Alexander Nordal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Björn Bammerman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marsfjäll BK reached it. Dick Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Björn Bammerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magnus Olsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joakim Gunnarsson. Marsfjäll BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Torsten Klintæus made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Johannes Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eriksmåla IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Johansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Marsfjäll BK's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Klintæus came free, but Joakim Gunnarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johannes Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriksmåla IK's Torsten Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marsfjäll BK's goalkeeper Joakim Gunnarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 81 in the game by Johannes Johansson from a close distance when the talented Joakim Gunnarsson managed to make a qualified save. Marsfjäll BK's players were relieved. In the 81st match minute, Marsfjäll BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Hjortberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marsfjäll BK's zone, Torsten Klintæus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joakim Gunnarsson came out of the goal and Torsten Klintæus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Björn Bammerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conny Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marsfjäll BK's Joakim Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Klintæus in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Eriksmåla IK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lennart Hagström hit a great ball.
