In the 40th minute, Axel Termander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Törnblom was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Lars Olsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Lars Olsmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Örnsköldsvik IK's Karl-Åke Bennet got control of the ball when Karl-Oskar Ros tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Lars Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Bennet made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Karl-Oskar Ros sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Edvin Törnblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Aronsson in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Zebastian Aronsson notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Öland fc's Sven-Edvin Törnblom. Sven-Edvin Törnblom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Olsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Törnblom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Termander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Karl-Åke Bennet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Oskar Ros in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the Örnsköldsvik IK defense, Karl-Oskar Ros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Bennet. Örnsköldsvik IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörn Alströmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Örnsköldsvik IK were victorious despite being under pressure from Öland fc for much of the match.
