In the 2nd minute, Patric Hammarberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anders Dahlqvist. The goal made the score 1-0. Sexdrega IK's Anders Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Hammarberg in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Sexdrega IK booed when Åled RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Ström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Örjan Håkansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Sexdrega IK's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Hammarberg came free, but Anders Dahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örjan Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Patric Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åled RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patric Hammarberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Örjan Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Sjö's late challenge caught a Sexdrega IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Sjö helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Åled RK's William Sjö got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Örjan Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 41 played minutes Åled RK got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Åberg. In the 43rd minute, Joachim Hellström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patric Hammarberg made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sexdrega IK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Mårtensson came free, but Anders Dahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Joachim Hellström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Örjan Håkansson was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Åled RK's Hannes Ström got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute of the match Sexdrega IK got a corner. Åled RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jonatan Lindholm ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Michael Olsman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Joachim Hellström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Örjan Håkansson came out and tried to block the shot, but Joachim Hellström slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 64th minute. In the 71st minute, Staffan Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Åled RK fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Åled RK's Henrik Mårtensson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Åled RK's Örjan Håkansson got control of the ball when Philip Sörman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 minutes, Joachim Hellström made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Åled RK's Örjan Håkansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Philip Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Patric Hammarberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Dahlqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 94th match minute, Åled RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Erik Åberg to maneuver through the defense. Åled RK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
