Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joachim Hellström got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Sellberg in the 3rd minute of play forced Sexdrega IK's goalkeeper Anders Dahlqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sexdrega IK's zone, Dan Holmgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Dahlqvist came out of the goal and Dan Holmgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Dan Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ljung FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Holmgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anders Dahlqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Sellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sexdrega IK defense, Dan Holmgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Dahlqvist. The Sexdrega IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Dahlqvist should have stopped the shot. Jan-Erik Brovall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Hellström in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Ljung FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Dan Ivarsson hit a great ball. Jonatan Lindholm, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gunnar Vennerkvist's late challenge caught a Sexdrega IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gunnar Vennerkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ljung FF's Gunnar Vennerkvist got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jan-Erik Brovall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joachim Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Charlie Sellberg came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ljung FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Sellberg couldn't finish the play. Anders Dahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Sellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Joachim Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Ivarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Charlie Sellberg took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anders Dahlqvist. Anders Dahlqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sexdrega IK's Anders Dahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Sellberg in the 62nd minute of play. In the 70th minute, Viktor Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes, Ljung FF's Olof Sjöberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anders Dahlqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ljung FF reached it. Charlie Sellberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Dahlqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Charlie Sellberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Dan Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Robin Rydberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlie Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Sörman struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jan-Erik Brovall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sexdrega IK. Charlie Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Hellström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jan-Erik Brovall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Brovall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Hellström, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ljung FF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sexdrega IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
