The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arvin Larsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alfons Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Börge Ekström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Norrfors IF and the Alby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Norrfors IF's protests and gave Marcus Andersson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Norrfors IF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Marcus Andersson hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Börge Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Bank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alexander Andersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vidar Bank was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Alby BK's Vidar Bank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Alby BK from getting a goal against them.
