Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kristian Ingemarsson made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Hemmingsmark BK's zone, Rickard Beckeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andy Harlén came out of the goal and Rickard Beckeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Hemmingsmark BK got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Liljeström. After a rather tough play, Mellerud's Albin Ekman got a free kick in the 10th minute. Karl Rönn kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mellerud defense, Peder Sundberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sten Arenberg. The Mellerud fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sten Arenberg should have stopped the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mellerud fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Hemmingsmark BK. Erik Björling stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sten Arenberg. 0-2. A collision led to Hemmingsmark BK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Mikael Liljeström hit a great ball. Andy Harlén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Rönn in the 33rd minute. When Peder Sundberg came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hemmingsmark BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peder Sundberg couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Mellerud's Rickard Beckeman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andy Harlén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mellerud were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Hemmingsmark BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per-Olof Olsman took the corner.
If Rickard Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Hemmingsmark BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Victor Lövkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Harlén was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Niklas Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rickard Beckeman struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Andy Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellerud. Andy Harlén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Beckeman in the 67th minute of play. Mikael Liljeström kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Rickard Beckeman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mellerud's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Beckeman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Harlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the game, Rickard Beckeman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Andy Harlén was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Peder Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sten Arenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Mellerud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Hääger to maneuver through the defense. Peder Sundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Arenberg having to make a save. The Hemmingsmark BK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Mellerud from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
