Björkö IF's Arne Säf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Björkö IF from getting a goal against them. Arne Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Kruse in the 11th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Johannes Kjellkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyssna's Marcus Hermansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sven-Edvin Kruse came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hyssna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Kruse couldn't finish the play. Björkö IF's Arne Säf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Björkö IF from getting a goal against them. Hyssna's Marcus Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Vennerström in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Birger Lundqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Björkö IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hyssna the free kick. Birger Lundqvist hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arne Säf made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tom Sundén sent off a good shot on target. Sven-Edvin Kruse was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Hyssna's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Simon Johnsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Birger Lundqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Kruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Edvin Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Säf having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Hyssna's goalkeeper Marcus Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Kjellkvist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Kruse in the 71st minute of play forced Björkö IF's goalkeeper Arne Säf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Albert Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hyssna's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Wiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Säf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 81 played minutes Hyssna got a freekick which was hit by Albert Wiman. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Björkö IF's goalkeeper Arne Säf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sven-Edvin Kruse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Säf was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Sven-Edvin Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Sundén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Björkö IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
