After 12 minutes, Bengt Telin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stjärnhov IK and the Gnesta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bengt Telin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Joseph Mogren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stellan Lindqvist went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Stellan Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Mogren having to interfere. Bengt Telin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Sivert Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filip Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stjärnhov IK's Sivert Bagge got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sivert Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Bergqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Mogren having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, Gnesta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Östman to maneuver through the defense. Filip Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robin Bergqvist made a kick off. Sivert Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Filip Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute Sivert Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Forsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Mogren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Stjärnhov IK's Georg Alén got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Gnesta's Kåre Björk, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Gnesta. 60 minutes into the game, Robin Bergqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Filip Forsberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stjärnhov IK's Robin Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Stjärnhov IK's Elliot Törnqvist got a free kick in the 69th minute. Stellan Lindqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Gnesta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Kåre Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Georg Alén's late challenge caught a Gnesta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Alén helped the player get up and apologised. Knut Pilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Joseph Mogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Svanberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Bergqvist in the 81st minute of play forced Gnesta's goalkeeper Filip Forsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Georg Alén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Stjärnhov IK getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Charlie Lövgren hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
