After a defensive mix-up in Teckomatorp's zone, Johannes Häger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Kjellman came out of the goal and Johannes Häger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billy Esbjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Björn Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Häger in the 43rd minute of play forced Teckomatorp's goalkeeper Mats Kjellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats Kjellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Björn Isaksson's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Ludvig Asserlind might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Svante Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvig Asserlind ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Björn Isaksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 52nd minute, but Mats Kjellman got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Teckomatorp hanging dry this time. Mats Kjellman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Häger in the 55th minute. Mats Kjellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Isaksson in the 58th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Hjalmar Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svante Josefsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Häger struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Mats Kjellman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vännäs BK. Johannes Häger might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Kjellman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Häger ran back to his position shaking his head. Björn Isaksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mats Kjellman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teckomatorp's Mats Kjellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Teckomatorp from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vännäs BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
