In the 11th minute Gilbert Bäckström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Björkö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Rosen came free, but Sven-Oskar Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Björkö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Knutsson came free, but Sven-Oskar Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hannes Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Hökqvist having to interfere. Sten Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Broman in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Broman in the 46th minute of play forced Gällstad's goalkeeper Sten Hultman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gällstad getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Henning Rosen hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Björkö BF's Carl Klementsson tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hannes Knutsson was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 59 in the game by Gilbert Bäckström from a close distance when the talented Sven-Oskar Hökqvist managed to make a qualified save. Björkö BF's players were relieved. In the 60th match minute, Gällstad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Adrian Broman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sten Hultman was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Adrian Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Hultman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Hultman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Högman in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Björkö BF booed when Gällstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henning Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sten Hultman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Hannes Knutsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilbert Bäckström got free with Sven-Oskar Hökqvist in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Högman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Hultman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Adrian Broman struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sten Hultman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkö BF. If Adrian Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
