Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claes Tolsson kicked off to start the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Rickard Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mangopapaya IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Olofsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anton Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Tolsson in the 11th minute of play. When Hans Busk came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mangopapaya IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Busk couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Hans Siöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjell Frisck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Wennerqvist having to interfere. Claes Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Wennerqvist having to interfere. Wilhelm Hybbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Skara! The supporters of Skara booed when Mangopapaya IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Esbjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Skara fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Skara's Claes Tolsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Skara getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dan Sander hit a great ball. Rickard Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Karlstedt having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Rickard Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Karlstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rickard Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangopapaya IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivar Karlstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rickard Olofsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hans Busk to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mangopapaya IF's goalkeeper Anton Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kjell Frisck. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skara's goalkeeper Ivar Karlstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivar Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Hybbert in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Hybbert in the 60th minute of play forced Skara's goalkeeper Ivar Karlstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Esbjörnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivar Karlstedt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Esbjörnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Waller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Karlstedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ivar Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Hybbert in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Skara's Hans Siöberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Wilhelm Hybbert came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mangopapaya IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilhelm Hybbert couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd minute, Hans Siöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Karlstedt came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Mangopapaya IF's Rickard Olofsson. But to his dismay, Rickard Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Hans Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Billy Waller came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mangopapaya IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Waller couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Hybbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ivar Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Skara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Andersson to maneuver through the defense. Mangopapaya IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
