The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Stigen booed when Horseforce Battleboars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roy Hagström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Horseforce Battleboars's zone, Kristoffer Berggren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jakob Falkrantz came out of the goal and Kristoffer Berggren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Horseforce Battleboars's Roy Hagström got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Valentin Strandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stigen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horseforce Battleboars the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Stigen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Strandberg to maneuver through the defense. Mattias Ros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Häger in the 12th minute of the match. If Zebastian Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvar Kristiansson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jakob Falkrantz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stigen. Egil Brovall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Mattias Ros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zebastian Häger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Bergman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32ndth minute of the game Zebastian Häger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stigen's Mattias Ros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Stigen's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Brovall came free, but Mattias Ros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Kristiansson in the 35th minute of play forced Horseforce Battleboars's goalkeeper Jakob Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Berggren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Brovall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Mattias Ros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Zebastian Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horseforce Battleboars's supporters rose to their feet, but Zebastian Häger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Ros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egil Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Mattias Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egil Brovall in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mattias Ros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Egil Brovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattias Ros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Egil Brovall put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mattias Ros. Anders Bergman charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Bergman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stigen getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Anders Bergman hit a great ball. If Zebastian Häger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Egil Brovall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Ros was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. When Horseforce Battleboars's Egil Brovall in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stigen's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Horseforce Battleboars booed when Stigen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stigen's Mattias Ros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Brovall in the 86th minute of play. Mattias Ros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Brovall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zebastian Häger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mattias Ros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horseforce Battleboars's Jakob Falkrantz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Horseforce Battleboars from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the Horseforce Battleboars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
