The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marko Winström struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Kjell Jönsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Åmål BF's protests and gave Kjell Jönsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Kjell Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match August Sundin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Björck skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Åmål BF's Kjell Jönsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Edvin Uggstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Alvin Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marko Winström struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gunnar Ekgren took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Björck. David Björck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

Leonard Stålberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfrid Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. David Björck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Mjällom IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Jönsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 70thth minute of the game Leonard Stålberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mjällom IFK's David Björck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Åmål BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by August Sundin to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Åmål BF got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Sundberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Ekgren got free with David Björck in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 97 minutes into the match, Åmål BF's Gunnar Ekgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Björck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
