Edmund Österberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Vassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Bengtsson in the 14th minute of play forced Stångby BK's goalkeeper Edmund Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Bengtsson in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Stångby BK's Edmund Danielsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alexander Delin. Alexander Delin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's goalkeeper Alexander Delin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Colin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eskil Svartengren in the 28th minute of play forced Stångby BK's goalkeeper Edmund Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Danielsson came free, but Alexander Delin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edmund Danielsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Delin was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Sixten Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Colin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Alexander Delin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 47 minutes into the match, Äppelbo's goalkeeper Alexander Delin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Colin. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sixten Bengtsson to make the kick off. Egil Colin took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Delin. Alexander Delin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 58th minute, Aaron Samuelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the game, Sixten Bengtsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Edmund Österberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmund Danielsson in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Delin saved Äppelbo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixten Bengtsson in the 66th minute of play forced Stångby BK's goalkeeper Edmund Österberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Äppelbo's Mikael Vassenius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Österberg. That made the score 3-2 after 68 minutes of play. Äppelbo's Kjell-Arne Odén got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Edmund Danielsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexander Delin was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Danielsson in the 83rd minute of play forced Äppelbo's goalkeeper Alexander Delin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
