The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Sundström was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Björn Lövkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Johannes Apelqvist. Björn Lövkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. After 56 minutes, Fredrik Aleberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Värsås IF and the Kangos RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kangos RK booed when Värsås IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Aleberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hannes Ahlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Kangos RK's goalkeeper Johannes Apelqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Berglund. In the 71st minute, Jerry Löv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kangos RK's Jerry Löv got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerry Löv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Ahlgren having to interfere. Hannes Ahlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Sundström's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Värsås IF's Sven-Åke Holmgren got a free kick in the 84th minute. Kangos RK's Jerry Löv got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 minutes, Ludvig Vallander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Värsås IF and the Kangos RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Värsås IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ludvig Vallander hit a great ball. Tobias Sundström took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hannes Ahlgren. Hannes Ahlgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 95th match minute, Kangos RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense.
