Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joseph Löfskog took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joseph Löfskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Stål having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Vemdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Målare came free, but Östen Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rutger Vedholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Stål having to interfere. The long shot by Torsten Odman in the 16th minute really tested Alvar Stål's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alvar Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Östen Lekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frans Thidén's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Gottfrid Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Löfskog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alvar Stål tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvar Stål showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Löfskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Erik Målare in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Östen Lekberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Östen Lekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Målare, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rutger Vedholm got free with Alvar Stål in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Erik Målare to make the kick off. 61 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Hellström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avesta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vemdalen the free kick. Avesta's Frans Thidén got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Nils-Erik Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Lekberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vemdalen's Östen Lekberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Vemdalen from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Nils-Erik Målare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avesta's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils-Erik Målare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Lekberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, Nils-Erik Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Vemdalen getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mikael Waller hit a great ball. Alvar Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Löfskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vemdalen booed when Avesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avesta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torsten Odman was slow to take the kick. During this time Vemdalen's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Christian Kellman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 92 minutes into the match, Vemdalen's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Erik Målare came free, but Östen Lekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
