Sköllersta BF's Freddie Forssberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sköllersta BF from getting a goal against them. Ove Lundin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Gunnar Snell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Forssberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gunnar Snell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ingmar Kristiansson fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grimslöv BF's protests and gave Ingmar Kristiansson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sköllersta BF booed when Grimslöv BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingmar Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Hök in the 23rd minute of play forced Grimslöv BF's goalkeeper Mats Willig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Grimslöv BF's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Björkdal came free, but Mats Willig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Hök's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Willig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. A collision led to Sköllersta BF getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Emanuel Fribäck hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Grimslöv BF's Ivan Sörman in action when he in the 39th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Christoffer Ekegren charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christoffer Ekegren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christoffer Ekegren kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Jonas Björkdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mats Willig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grimslöv BF's Mats Willig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christer Hök in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Snell to make the kick off. When Jonas Björkdal came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Sköllersta BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Björkdal couldn't finish the play. Freddie Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gunnar Snell in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Ingmar Kristiansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Kristiansson in the 63rd minute of play. Jonas Björkdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Sörman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sköllersta BF's zone, Ingmar Kristiansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Forssberg came out of the goal and Ingmar Kristiansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Björkdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Willig having to make a save. Freddie Forssberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingmar Kristiansson's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Jonas Björkdal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mats Willig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Hök's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mats Willig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Jonas Björkdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Sköllersta BF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Grimslöv BF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
