Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Otto Josefsson started the match with the kick off. Otto Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Djurgården's Kjell Tidén got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Ove Jonasson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Djurgården's Jan-Ove Jonasson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lukas Albäck in the 18 minute of the game. If Jan-Ove Jonasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Djurgården's Gösta Fågel got control of the ball when Alfons Unesson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Vittskövle RK booed when Djurgården was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Tidén didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otto Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Josefsson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ingmar Myhr didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Djurgården. After 33 minutes, Jan-Ove Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Djurgården and the Vittskövle RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 35 minutes, Otto Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgården's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ingmar Myhr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Vittskövle RK's Filiph Almkvist got a free kick in the 38th minute. Ingmar Myhr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Lindholm in the 40th minute of play. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Tommy Nordin made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Kennet Lindholm mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ingmar Myhr was a little too slow when Otto Josefsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-1. After a rather tough play, Djurgården's Kjell Tidén got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75thth minute of the game Alfons Unesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården's Gösta Fågel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vittskövle RK's zone, Kennet Lindholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Myhr came out of the goal and Kennet Lindholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfons Unesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Ove Jonasson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ingmar Myhr made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Leif Kvick notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vittskövle RK's Ingmar Myhr. Ingmar Myhr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
