The Åsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vilgot Askestät should have stopped the shot. Vilgot Askestät made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Mogren in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Charles Andersson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vilgot Askestät skillfully saved the ball. If Edward Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilgot Askestät showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Mogren in the 21st minute of the match. Bredaryd's Mattias Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Jansson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Jan Enström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bredaryd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Edward Jansson scored to the left of an out of position Mattias Nordström, making the score, 1-1. David Alrot hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jan Enström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute of the match, Edward Jansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mattias Nordström saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Michael Moberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Nordström having to interfere. The supporters of Åsa booed when Bredaryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Enström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eskil Lidberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Bredaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Moberg came free, but Mattias Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bredaryd's Mattias Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Martinsson in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walter Edström during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Åsa's Karl-Oskar Martinsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Vilgot Askestät was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mathias Björk. Leonard Mogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Vilgot Askestät tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åsa's goalkeeper Vilgot Askestät, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonard Mogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Askestät having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Åsa got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Oskar Martinsson. Eskil Lidberg struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Vilgot Askestät didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bredaryd. With a little luck, Åsa's Vilgot Askestät got control of the ball when Leonard Mogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Vilgot Askestät managed to avoid a goal in the 99thth minute, when Bredaryd's Leonard Mogren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Åsa supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bredaryd's performance. The match ended with a win for Bredaryd.
