Hera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venjan the free kick. William Hellbom hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 6 played minutes Venjan got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Lindström. André Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, William Hellbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute André Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Lindgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, André Eklund made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Venjan's Joseph Lindgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. William Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Lindgren having to interfere. After 24 minutes, William Hellbom made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Venjan's Joseph Lindgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joseph Lindgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Eklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hera FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Eklund struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Joseph Lindgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hera FC. Malcolm Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Hera FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Eklund was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, William Hellbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If William Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, William Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Hellbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venjan's Joseph Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Eklund in the 60th minute of play. Joseph Lindgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Hellbom in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute of the match, André Eklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joseph Lindgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Malcolm Kullander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Johansson came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Venjan's Svante Lind. But to his dismay, Svante Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If William Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. André Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingvar Johansson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venjan's Svante Lind. But to his dismay, Svante Lind quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 90 minutes, Johannes Lindström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venjan and the Hera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, William Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but William Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseph Lindgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, William Hellbom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Lindgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Joseph Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Hellbom in the 97th minute of the match.
