After a rather tough play, Venjan's Torbjörn Ålberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Venjan's Joseph Lindgren got control of the ball when Göran Biörk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Göran Biörk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Joseph Lindgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Christopher Lundberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Göran Biörk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Göran Biörk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svante Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Venjan got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Bergfeldt. Gustaf Lundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Kullander, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Kullander in the 32nd minute of play forced Eldsberga's goalkeeper Gustaf Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Malcolm Kullander in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Lundin saved Eldsberga from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Einar Kjellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaf Lundin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Lind's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Svante Lind fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Lundin having to interfere. After some careless play in the Eldsberga defense, Svante Lind kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Lundin. The Eldsberga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Lundin should have stopped the shot. After having played for 47 minutes, Göran Biörk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eldsberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Biörk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Lind was the one to do the kick off. Johannes Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johannes Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venjan's Johannes Lindström got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 59 played minutes Venjan got a freekick which was hit by Olof Siggman. Göran Biörk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joseph Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göran Biörk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes, Eldsberga's Douglas Norström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joseph Lindgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eldsberga reached it. Svante Lind was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Venjan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Eldsberga defense, Malcolm Kullander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Lundin. The Eldsberga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Lundin should have stopped the shot. Edwin Godholm hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Joseph Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Eldsberga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venjan's performance. The match ended with a win for Venjan.
