In the 6th minute Christer Enström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Gulliksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Hyltebruk IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Bock came free, but Paul Ahlroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Tunander having to interfere. In the 17th minute Oliver Gulliksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oliver Gulliksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Bock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlroth having to interfere. Christer Enström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vincent Lingren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Frans Östman put in a rough tackle. Järpen's Josef Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Lundhberg in the 42nd minute of play. Björn Lundhberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kenny Bock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Järpen's goalkeeper Josef Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claes Matsson. Claes Matsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Järpen's zone, Claes Matsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Tunander came out of the goal and Claes Matsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Hyltebruk IFK booed when Järpen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Fastesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Josef Tunander made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenny Bock in the 67th minute of play forced Hyltebruk IFK's goalkeeper Paul Ahlroth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Järpen were awarded a corner. Johnny Norberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Kenny Bock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Paul Ahlroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenny Bock in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Ahlroth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Ahlroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Bock in the 81st minute of the match. Christer Enström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Tunander having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christer Enström got free with Josef Tunander in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Hyltebruk IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Bock came free, but Paul Ahlroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Christer Enström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Björn Lundhberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
