Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eric Ström made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Leo Ahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älmeboda FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Ahlquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malte Löfgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sture Strömberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Ström's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Eric Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Strömberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Älmeboda FF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Jan-Erik Pihl hit a great ball. Älmeboda FF's Sture Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Benett in the 23rd minute of play. Sture Strömberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Ström's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Leo Ahlquist kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Västerfärnebo's keeper Malte Löfgren was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, Älmeboda FF's Leonardo Bank got a free kick in the 36th minute. Sture Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Benett in the 37th minute of play. Lars Benett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sture Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Eric Ström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Strömberg. Älmeboda FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eric Ström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Leo Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Västerfärnebo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Stigsson made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Leo Ahlquist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Malte Löfgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Ström in the 58th minute of play forced Älmeboda FF's goalkeeper Sture Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Ström in the 60th minute of the match. After 64 minutes Älmeboda FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pål Siöberg who took care of the corner kick. In the 66th minute, Eric Ström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lars Benett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sture Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sture Strömberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Ström's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Sven-Erik Pihlwall's late challenge caught a Älmeboda FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Ström in the 86th minute of play forced Älmeboda FF's goalkeeper Sture Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sture Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Ström in the 92nd minute of the match. If Eric Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes, Älmeboda FF's Emanuel Giöck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Malte Löfgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Älmeboda FF reached it.
