Patrik Stigsson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Michel Lilja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmeboda FF. Älmeboda FF's Sture Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Åberg in the 33rd minute of play. Daniel Apelquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Strömberg having to interfere. Reine Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sture Strömberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Stigsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Lilja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Stigsson to make the kick off. Reine Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Strömberg having to interfere. Sture Strömberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calle Klementsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Daniel Apelquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sture Strömberg. Älmeboda FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Apelquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Älmeboda FF's goalkeeper Sture Strömberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sture Strömberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Apelquist's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Leo Ahlquist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Michel Lilja skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Apelquist in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sture Strömberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Erik Pihl charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Erik Pihl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Älmeboda FF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jan-Erik Pihl hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Daniel Apelquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosersberg FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 81st minute, Älmeboda FF's Patrik Stigsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. A collision led to Älmeboda FF getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jan-Erik Pihl hit a great ball. Reine Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rosersberg FK had played much better football throughout.
