Martin Löfdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonny Öman having to interfere. If Martin Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mjöbäck's Martin Löfdahl in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mora IK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, Martin Löfdahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sonny Öman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Mikael Sjöberg charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Sjöberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Mikael Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mjöbäck's Jim Söderman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Kjellman in the 17th minute of play. Erik Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jim Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Söderman having to interfere. Douglas Kjellman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 minutes of play, Mora IK's Erik Olofsson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Söderman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anton Brandin hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Erik Olofsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jim Söderman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Olofsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match, Erik Olofsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jim Söderman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 64 minutes, Karl-Magnus Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mjöbäck and the Mora IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Mjöbäck got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Johnsson. Mora IK's Sonny Öman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Löfdahl in the 72nd minute of play. Erik Olofsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Söderman having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Erik Olofsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Söderman. Mjöbäck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Olofsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Mora IK's Erik Olofsson got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erik Olofsson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mora IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Olofsson couldn't finish the play. Jim Söderman made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Erik Olofsson sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Mjöbäck got a freekick which was hit by Egil Hammarbäck. In the 89th of the match, Douglas Kjellman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jim Söderman got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 91st minute, Douglas Kjellman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jim Söderman, passed just outside the right post. Douglas Kjellman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jim Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mjöbäck's zone, Douglas Kjellman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Söderman came out of the goal and Douglas Kjellman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Mora IK booed when Mjöbäck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Hammarbäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Kjellman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Jim Söderman made a huge save. Mora IK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
