Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adrian Bäck took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the game, one of Karlsborgsverken RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rune Beneth struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Zebastian Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlsborgsverken RK. Per-Åke Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Per-Åke Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlsborgsverken RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Carlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. IFK Sponsor's Zebastian Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Beneth in the 20th minute of play. Zebastian Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Åke Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per-Åke Henriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Birger Wallman fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Sponsor's protests and gave Birger Wallman a yellow card for diving instead. Adrian Bäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tage Torstensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Adrian Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Torstensson having to interfere. Tage Torstensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes of play, Karlsborgsverken RK's Per-Åke Henriksson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zebastian Carlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54thth minute of the game Adrian Bäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karlsborgsverken RK's Tage Torstensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Svante Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tage Torstensson having to interfere. Adrian Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tage Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rune Beneth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Zebastian Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, IFK Sponsor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Wallman to maneuver through the defense. Birger Wallman kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Per-Åke Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlsborgsverken RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Åke Henriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zebastian Carlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tage Torstensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Bäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Zebastian Carlsson made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Rune Beneth sent off a good shot on target. Birger Wallman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Svante Lindmark might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tage Torstensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svante Lindmark ran back to his position shaking his head. IFK Sponsor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
