The tension between the Höganäs IK and the Björkskatan IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 27 minutes, Linus Smitt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Björkskatan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Smitt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Björkskatan IK's Lucas Pihlwall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magne Samuelsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mattias Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Karlsson in the 41st minute of play. Hampus Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Karlsson in the 46th minute of play forced Björkskatan IK's goalkeeper Mattias Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Lucas Pihlwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Linus Smitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Smedfeldt in the 55th minute of play forced Björkskatan IK's goalkeeper Mattias Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Ove Björling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Höganäs IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Björkskatan IK the free kick. Ove Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Höganäs IK's Georg Karlsson made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mattias Kaxe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Björkskatan IK's Sven Ekström suffered a fractured collar bone after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Höganäs IK's Charlie Kilberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Charlie Kilberg off the ground. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Linus Smitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björkskatan IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Smitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Samuelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute Hélder de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Samuelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linus Smitt struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Magne Samuelsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björkskatan IK. Sven-Oskar Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Gösta Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Björkskatan IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
