Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nittorp's Orvar Jonsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orvar Jonsson in the 10th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orvar Jonsson got free with Marcus Lindblom in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Falk kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Orvar Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marcus Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Einar Forsman during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Pål Ekeroth got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26th minute Orvar Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Nittorp's Gunnar Vidman tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 35 minutes, Jan-Erik Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hörby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Erik Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pål Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Marcus Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pål Ekeroth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Marcus Lindblom skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Pål Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Nittorp getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Richard Malmgren hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arne Söderberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcus Lindblom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pål Ekeroth went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The goalkeeper, Ivar Säv, was totally fooled by Hörby's Evert Hägglund, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Pål Ekeroth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hörby's Marcus Lindblom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivar Säv made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jan-Erik Hård sent off a good shot on target. Ivar Säv was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Jan-Erik Hård capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan-Erik Hård really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 65th minute, Orvar Jonsson made a precise shot to the right of Marcus Lindblom. Hörby's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 72nd minute, Arne Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Orvar Jonsson sped through Hörby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcus Lindblom. Hörby's Marcus Lindblom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Jonsson in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Arne Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Säv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hörby's zone, Orvar Jonsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Lindblom came out of the goal and Orvar Jonsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Säv stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arne Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. If Arne Söderberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pål Ekeroth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Calle Fastesson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hörby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nittorp the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hörby's Calle Fastesson got a free kick in the 96th minute. A collision led to Hörby getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Eric Käller hit a great ball. Orvar Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Marcus Lindblom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
