Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mikael Grönlund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Brander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. August Aronsson struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Valdemar Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hajom BK. In the 5th minute, Henrik Thorsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Grönlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig-Arne Deckbergh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mikael Grönlund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute of the match Tomas Brander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdemar Mattsson skillfully saved the ball. August Aronsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Mattsson having to interfere. Ludvig Stensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdemar Mattsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvig Stensson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Aronsson in the 17th minute of play forced Markaryd's goalkeeper Valdemar Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. August Aronssons short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Valdemar Mattsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Klas Bäckström fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markaryd's protests and gave Klas Bäckström a yellow card for diving instead. Klas Bäckström hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Valdemar Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by August Aronsson in the 32nd minute. After 36 played minutes Ludvig Stensson rounded Markaryd's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. If Mikael Grönlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hajom BK's goalkeeper Stig-Arne Deckbergh, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to Markaryd getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mikael Grönlund hit a great ball. Valdemar Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvig Stensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Tomas Brander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hajom BK and the Markaryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Markaryd booed when Hajom BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Brander didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Markaryd got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Grönlund. Stellan Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ludvig Stensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Mikael Grönlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Deckbergh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Brander was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Tomas Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mikael Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig-Arne Deckbergh having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling August Aronsson in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Mattsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hajom BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
