After a rather tough play, Hölö BF's Martin Dahlberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Alf Vennerdal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kolbäck IFK's Mathias Brolin. Mathias Brolin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Vennerdal might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Brolin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alf Vennerdal ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Patrik Giliusson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kolbäck IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Giliusson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredric Rosendahl scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathias Brolin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Alf Vennerdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Kolbäck IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Vennerdal came free, but Mathias Brolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kolbäck IFK's zone, Fredric Rosendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Brolin came out of the goal and Fredric Rosendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fredric Rosendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Brolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Vennerdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hölö BF fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Hölö BF's Alf Vennerdal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Kråk was the one to do the kick off. Fredric Rosendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathias Brolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Vennerdal in the 54th minute of play. Fredric Rosendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alf Vennerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Brolin having to interfere. The supporters of Kolbäck IFK booed when Hölö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredric Rosendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Vennerdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Kråk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Isak Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Hölö BF fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Hölö BF's Fredric Rosendahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mathias Brolin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hölö BF. If Birger Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alf Vennerdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathias Brolin having to make a save. The Kolbäck IFK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hölö BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
