Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lidingö IF's Jonas Strömberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Jonas Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Åhman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Åhman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 9th minute, Stefan Lindholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Västerberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sandsjöfors IK's Jarl Åhman. Jarl Åhman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Sven-Erik Västerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jonas Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jarl Åhman was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 18th minute of the match, Adam Sillén tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pelle Danielsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jarl Åhman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Västerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Adam Sillén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Danielsson having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Jarl Fransson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandsjöfors IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidingö IF the free kick. In the 34th minute, Jarl Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Strömberg came free, but Jarl Åhman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Sven-Erik Västerberg made a precise shot to the right of Jarl Åhman. Sandsjöfors IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Jonas Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Adam Sillén made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Jonas Strömberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarl Åhman. The goal made the score 1-3. After 65 played minutes Sandsjöfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Jarl Fransson. If Jörgen Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Dalberg hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the last second Jarl Åhman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jonas Strömberg in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 76 minutes into the game, Lidingö IF's Sven-Erik Västerberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarl Åhman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Jonas Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jarl Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Erik Västerberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jarl Åhman could save by the left post. Johan Dalberg hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Johan Dalberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarl Åhman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Folke Brogren. In the 93rd minute, Adam Sillén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pelle Danielsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Harry Olsson hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Lidingö IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
